Company is a privately owned and registered for-profit Company. In this regard, applications from organizations that are majority owned (at least 50% and above) by government or by a non-profit entity are not eligible
The total funds requested must not exceed USD 500,000. There is no minimum limit.
You must demonstrate that the project involves the development and growth of existing or proposed outgrower scheme/offtaker arrangements.
Your Company (including 3rd parties such as co-investors or banks and other lenders) is providing matching funds of at least 50% of the total cost of the business idea i.e. at least as much as the funds requested from SLADF. This is to demonstrate risk sharing between the organization and SLADF.
Your business idea must be implemented in Sierra Leone.
Cocoa, rice, poultry, oil palm are the core focus. However, other value chains can apply, provided they demonstrate impact on outgrowers.
